How nice to have a leisurely morning and a lovely day. After another yummy breakfast on our Silver Spirit, we took the shuttle bus into town.
There is an old castle in town center that is now a museum (9 euros for the two of us). We explored it from turret to dungeon. Saw lots of artifacts and a headless and armless, skeleton. Saw just enough to appreciate never having lived in a castle. I think castle dwelling is highly overrated.
There were nice shopping streets. Bought some gift towels and table runners (only to discover they were made in China). Enjoyed lunch at “The Antique Restaurant” where David and Ursula from our Signature group joined us for awhile as they were completing their tour. Bob said his prawn dish was really excellent. Tonight, dinner just for two in La Terrazza. A lovely day from beginning to end.
