What a beautiful and charming island this is and such fun to explore. We had perfect weather and even found a little train at the pier to help us look about. There is a lot of history in this island, coveted and conquered by every dynasty it seems. Jeri took the tour and her gallery appears below.
After our little train tour we walked the pier and into the square. Guess what? They have a gelato shoppe here as well! Oh, they have lots of natural sponges here too. What a nice surprise. The sponge I use to apply make-up is very hard to find in Florida, so I splurged on purchasing them.
This is our first formal night and everyone looked just grand. Gordon struck a magnificent pose in Scottish kilt. Regretfully I have no picture of him. We were joined at dinner by Bill and Pam from the Halifax area and had a lot of fun and laughs with them throughout the voyage.
